The Seminary was founded by Dr. Gordon Cross in 1983 as an independent, non-profit institution for learning. The Seminary is transdenominational. Its purpose is to prepare men and women who are called to serve as rabbis, pastors, missionaries, leaders, educators, and counselors. It also serves to train individuals for lay leadership in the church and synagogue. The alumni include rabbis, evangelists, pastors, educators, counselors, administrators, and musicians. All who desire to learn with effectiveness are welcome to attend. Those who recognize the need to continually study God's Word in its original Jewish context and the need for further preparation, come.

The Seminary provides a warm family atmosphere under the leadership of a professional Board and excellent Faculty. The aim of the Seminary is to serve and glorify God.
